Promoting Transatlantic Cultural Cooperation
EUNIC New York is the digital platform representing the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) in New York. In creating this website, we aimed to develop a digital space that encapsulates the wide-reaching work of EUNIC, a network of organizations that engage in cultural activities beyond their national borders and operate both at arm’s length from national governments and as national bodies and ministries1.
The website showcases the network’s commitment to promoting European values, sharing knowledge, building capacity among its members and partners, and engaging local partners in dialogue and common cultural projects. With 38 members based in all EU Member States and operating in 90 countries worldwide through a network of 125 clusters, EUNIC has a broad and diverse range of initiatives and partnerships to display1.
Our goal in designing and building the EUNIC New York website was to create a user-friendly platform that reflects the breadth and depth of EUNIC’s work. This involved presenting the various member organizations in a clear and engaging manner, as well as highlighting the range of projects and initiatives undertaken by the network.
We are proud to have contributed to a project that promotes transatlantic cultural cooperation and facilitates the sharing of European values across borders. The EUNIC New York website serves as an essential tool in fostering cultural dialogue and partnerships, and we are honored to have been part of its creation.
